1. Ants usually locate their NESTS in wood which is associated with a constant moisture source such as leaking roof or sweating pipes or near a dishwasher.
2. Ants make their main colonies are more than likely in stumps, tree limbs or fence posts and landscape ties.
3. Ants have satellite colonies which are often in humid areas that may not always show evidence of moisture. Hollows of doors, insulation and other voids may be used as satellite colony nest sites.
4. Tracking the Ants to NEST. Place pancake syrup, honey or jam mixed with cricket or mealworm parts (reptile live food) on a piece of foil and locate in an area those Ants frequent.
